    INGREDIENTS
  • Pink Himalayan salt Sugar

  • 1 blood orange or lime, for rim and garnish

  • 2 fl oz silver (blanco) tequila

  • 1 fl oz Cointreau or other orange liqueur

  • 1 fl oz fresh lime juice

  • 1 fl oz fresh blood orange juice

  • 1–2 teaspoons agave nectar, or to taste

How to make

To salt glass rim, pour a light layer of pink Himalayan salt and sugar onto a small plate. Moisten a margarita glass rim with a blood orange or lime wedge. Dip glass in salt-sugar mix to coat rim evenly. Fill the glass with crushed ice.

Fill a cocktail shaker with tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, blood orange juice, and agave (add more agave if you like your margs sweet!). Add ice, cover, shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, and strain into prepared glass. Garnish with a fresh citrus slice.
